Sometimes people get excited during a real estate transaction and bypass their real estate broker and try to contact the other party without using a broker. This is OK as long as you are not in an agency with an agent. It is a bad idea to contact the other party. Your agent knows what to say and not say. You might cause more of a problem than you think.
