Golden Holiday Parade

Golden’s old-fashioned holiday parade started in 2005 with a few cowboys on horseback, an antique fire truck, and members of the Colorado School of Mines band, and today, it bursts with Colorado charm and delights children of all ages with its eclectic display of floats and holiday characters.

The parades are on December 7, 14, and 21 at 11:00 a.m. The route is down Washington Avenue from 11th to 13th Streets through historic downtown.  Each parade is different, providing the perfect reason to bring the family back to Golden again and again!

Join in the holiday spirit and watch floats, clowns, festive holiday characters, and Santa Claus on the firetruck parade down Washington Avenue. After the parades, head to the downtown area shops and restaurants.

PARKING

  • Garages located along Jackson Street between 11th and 13th have easy access to Golden’s downtown.
