Skate the lake festival evergreen 2019 Map

Join the Evergreen Chamber and our local mountain community for the family-friendly, alcohol-free 24th annual New Year’s Eve Skate the Lake event. This event raises money for 5 local nonprofits!

The New Year’s Eve Festival will be held as a GIANT Street Festival on Highway 74 facing the lake and the fireworks.

Unfortunately, the Ice is Closed so there is NO skating on Evergreen Lake this year.

We want our Evergreen families & teens to have a safe place to party for New Year’s Eve! There have been no alcohol-related driving accidents in 24 years!

Tickets $20 in advance, $30 at the door / Children 5 and under are free.

Tickets are non-refundable. In the event the Evergreen Lake House is closed the Festival will be held as a GIANT street party on Highway 74 facing the lake and the fireworks.

A portion of the proceeds will be given to DriveSmart, Bootstraps College Scholarships, Alpine Rescue, EAPL (Evergreen Animal Protective League) and EChO (Evergreen Christian Outreach). This event is FOR the community BY the community!

Free hot chocolate inside the Warming Hut.
NO alcohol permitted.

Open skate under the lights from 6 pm until 10 pm.

Skate rentals while supplies last. If you need to rent skates ($8) we suggest arriving at 5:45 pm.

FREE parking and free shuttles at the locations listed below.
Shuttle starts 5:30 pm, last shuttle at 10:30 pm.
