Like it or not there will be about 75 new townhomes behind the Conifer Safeway. The counties in the Denver Foothills are starting to approve more large developments in the area. From Evergreen to Conifer we are seeing more and more permits for homes, condos and apartments. This is almost inevitable when home values go way up and inventory goes way down. It is overdue and frankly a few years behind. There are a lot of buyers out there that still want to enjoy the mountains just like the people that already live there do.
Developments In Conifer and Evergreen
It goes without saying that the times in Evergreen and Conifer are changing. People have discovered the mountains and the foothills of Denver. Denver is growing and anywhere with easy access to Denver will continue to grow. The cost of running a county is increasing and the county understands it either needs more developments and homes or it needs to increase the amount of taxes paid by residents already living here. Either way people will be upset. They are working on the Evergreen Parkway Development where the Evergreen Tennis Bubble currently is. The Floyd Hill Development is still in the works last time we heard. These large projects are nothing new to the area. They have just not been really built in the last few years.
