Morrison, CO is one of the coolest mountain towns in Colorado. Such a neat downtown area with great food and atmosphere. As a real estate agent in Morrison, CO is is one of my favorite places to show property. There is such a mixture of different architecture and style. From design, age and interior. Homes by Red Rocks Country club are just amazing and breathtaking with views that one can’t even describe. There is easy access through the canyon to Evergreen as well as easy access to I70 for Denver or the ski areas. Morrison has seen a steady increase in the cost of real estate along with the rest of the area.

If you are in Morrison it is an absolute must to stop in at Red Rocks. The nice thing about Red Rocks Amphitheater is it is open all day long. You can actually walk right up on stage and take a selfie! People even run the stairs of the theater as exorcise. Yeah, i have never tried it. I get tired walking up those things to get a beer during a concert. Speaking of concerts, it is a must to see a show there while you are in town looking a homes. Even if it is just a band you kinda like. The atmosphere there is like no other venue. With the sun setting behind the stage and Denver in the backdrop, nothing like it.

Morrison, CO is also a stop on the Lariat Loop National Scenic Byway that is popular with motorcycles and automobile tourists, a 40-mile scenic byway established in the early 1920s to help locals experience the beautiful mountain landscapes near the Denver metro area. This loop is a busy stretch that locals sometimes just go for a cruise and tourists can enjoy in an afternoon with plenty of places to stop and see the scenery or grab a bite to eat.

Mount Falcon Castle Trail is an easy and popular hiking trail in Mount Falcon Park, offering an exercise alternative to the amphitheatre stairs at nearby Red Rocks Park. For those people like me that aren’t into really running up stairs and prefer a more gradual incline at this altitude. Be sure to drink plenty of water when doing your outdoor activities.
