In some areas of the country you can buy a nine thousand square foot home for $500,000. In other areas $500,000 won’t buy you a two bedroom apartment. In the Denver Foothills the average home value is over $500,000 so you will only be able to afford an average size home in the Denver Foothills. In the Denver Foothills you can pretty much say that any home over $1,500,000 (or higher as of 2023) could be considered in the luxury home or high end market.
