What You Need for Evergreen Summer Camps

Before your child can participate in the camp, there are a few prerequisites to fulfill. An annual pass fee of $35, a youth application, and a Colorado Certificate of Immunization are required. Once those are taken care of, your child is ready to join the adventure camp.

EPRD Camp Schedules 2023

The camp provides a daily schedule filled with fun and engaging activities for your child. From 7:30 AM to 6 PM, licensed staff members will lead your child in games, crafts, nature exploration, sports, swimming, gymnastics, and playground time. The staff members are positive role models and mentors who will engage and interact with your child throughout the day.

The camp is designed for children aged 5 to 11 years, and the staff members transport campers offsite for certain activities. The camp is available for 5-day sessions, from June 5th to August 11th, or for 3-day sessions during the weeks of May 31st to June 2nd and July 5th to 7th. There will also be a 3-day session available during the July 4th holiday week.

How Much Do EPRD Summer Camps Cost This Year?

The fees for the camp are $235 for a 5-day session for residents and $293 for non-residents. For a 3-day session, the fees are $141 for residents and $176 for non-residents. Your child will need to bring a sack lunch, two snacks, a drink or water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, swimsuit, towel, and an extra jacket each day.

INSPIRE Adventure Camp: Providing Exciting Adventures for People with Disabilities

Summer is a time for fun, exploration, and adventure. However, for people with disabilities, finding programs that cater to their needs and interests can be a challenge. Fortunately, EPRD (Evergreen Park & Recreation District) offers INSPIRE Adventure Camp – a day camp for youth ages 5-17 with disabilities.

INSPIRE Adventure Camp is licensed by the Colorado State Day Camp and offers exciting adventures for its participants. The camp is designed to help campers have fun and meet new friends while engaging in activities that promote physical activity, creativity, and exploration. From exploring nature, playing games, and creating crafts, to swimming, gymnastics, and playground time, campers will have a blast while being supervised by licensed staff.

To ensure the safety and well-being of campers, EPRD has established specific prerequisites for INSPIRE Adventure Camp. These include an annual pass fee, INSPIRE Youth Application, Statement of Physical Condition signed by a physician, Colorado Certificate of Immunization, Behavior Plan (if needed), and a Pre-Registration interview with the coordinator (required for new participants only).

In addition to these prerequisites, all health and registration forms for INSPIRE Adventure Camp must be turned in by April 1st so that the nurse may write a health care plan for each participant. Furthermore, all payments must be turned in one month in advance, and no late registrations are allowed.

INSPIRE Adventure Camp is held daily on Mondays and Wednesdays from June 2nd to August 12th, excluding the July 4th holiday week. The fee is $50 per day for DR (District Resident) and $63 per day for NDR (Non-District Resident). The camp is located at the Wulf Rec Center, and all campers are required to bring a sack lunch, two snacks, a drink or water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, a swimsuit, a towel, and an extra jacket.

Moreover, EPRD also offers other adventure programs for people with disabilities, such as Breckenridge Outdoor Education Camp (BOEC), Therapeutic Horseback Riding Camp, and National Sports Center for the Disabled Camp. The school age program at Buchanan Park Field offers just that! Here, children aged 6-10 can join Coach Greg and his team of staff members to learn new sports skills and have fun while doing it.

The Summer Sports Camp is a licensed day camp, which means it is a safe and fun place for children to spend their days. The camp runs for 5-day sessions from June 5th through August 4th, Mondays through Fridays from 9 AM to 4 PM. Each week focuses on a different sports theme, such as soccer, flag football, basketball, and Olympics/wiffle ball. In addition to these sports, campers may also enjoy hiking, swimming, gymnastics, climbing, bowling, and other activities.

To participate in the Summer Sports Camp, there are a few prerequisites that must be met. These include an annual pass fee of $35, a youth application, and a Colorado Certificate of Immunization. It is essential to have these documents ready to participate.

The program includes three different camps: TinyTykes for ages 3-5, Half Day for ages 5-14, and Overtime for Half Day enrollees only. TinyTykes features fun games, activities, and adventures, while Half Day offers an international style practice curriculum with technical development from around the world. Overtime is a bonus camp offered Monday through Thursday and includes additional fun competitions and scrimmages.

Each camper will receive a ball, t-shirt, and soccer poster, and those who register online 30 days before the camp start date will receive a free International Soccer Jersey. There are no prerequisites to enroll in the Challenger Soccer Camp, making it accessible to all interested children.

The camp will be held at Marshdale Park from June 19-23 and at Graham Park from July 17-21, with all three camps available at each location. TinyTykes will run from 8-8:45 AM, Half Day from 9 AM-12 PM, and Overtime from 1-3 PM (Monday through Thursday only). The fees for the camp are $155 for TinyTykes, $260 for Half Day, and $110 for Overtime. Campers will get the opportunity to experience outdoor rock climbing in Colorado’s beautiful front range, weather permitting. In the case of inclement weather, the camp will be held inside at Buchanan Park Rec Center’s Climbing Pinnacle.

The camp runs for 4-day sessions (Monday through Thursday) throughout June and July, and includes plenty of time for climbing as well as other fun activities. Campers should bring appropriate clothing and footwear for a day in the mountains, as well as a water bottle, lunch, snacks, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and an extra jacket.

In order to participate in Climbing Camp, campers must submit a health history form, available for download on the Buchanan Park Rec Center website. The cost for each 4-day session is $285 for residents of the district, and $355 for non-residents.

Preschool age children must be potty trained to attend the camp. The camp runs for four days, Monday through Thursday, and offers both half-day and full-day sessions. The 4-day sessions run from June 5-8 and July 31-August 3, while the 3-day session runs from July 5-7.

The camp takes place at Wulf Rec Center, which provides a safe and fun environment for kids to learn and practice their skills. Participants should wear athletic clothing and bring snacks and a water bottle to each session.
